The BULLY Project
The BULLY Project is centred around a film called “BULLY” – created to make us all more aware of the need to listen better, teach more effectively, be prepared – and to realize the extent of this problem; not just here in North America, but worldwide.
Remember that bullying is no longer confined to a School yard or a play area – it has encircled the world through the Internet and Social Media…and it’s never been confined to Children (though they are most vulnerable), Adults get bullied too.
Like any crime, if you are aware of bullying, report it, stand against it, do NOT ignore it. Don’t wait for someone else to do it. Think how you would feel if it was your Child…or yourself.

The new documentary film BULLY, directed by Sundance and Emmy-award winning filmmaker, Lee Hirsch, brings human scale to this startling statistic, offering an intimate, unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families.

It documents the responses of teachers and administrators to aggressive behaviors that defy “kids will be kids” clichés, and it captures a growing movement among parents and youths to change how bullying is handled in schools, in communities and in society as a whole.
